As rail fare due to increase by 5.9 % , adding to already some of the highest daily fares in Europe, and rail staff struggle to make ends meet. It’s worth remembering it’s not all bad news. There are some on Network Rail doing very nicely, no food banks for this lot at Christmas - Let’s be thankful we sold off the railways eh
