• for #Iridium, there's +1-480/752-5105 as their testing line.
• #Inmarsat uses +870-776/999-999.
• On #Thuraya it's just 11112.

Basically every #MNO and/or #MVNO has #TestingLines, it's just that they don't get published.

Whilst the local "Iridium Service Provider" & "Authorized Iridium Reseller" didn't have any charger, #Iridium themselves directed me to one who still has these parts - abeit at moonrock prices...

• Still gotta give them credit for supporting hardware that was out before their 1st bankrupcy and also still made by #Motorola so yeah.

I've chosen the "janky route" of a 3rd party aftermarket battery and external charging cradle to see if I can get it up and running that way...

• I'll update you guys, but if anyone has the #pinout for that bottom connector or the "Cellular Casette" (Cuz yes, instead of adding an #encryption module like on their #PTT radios, they basically offered a "dual radio" option with #CDMA & Dualband - #GSM ( #2G ) network connectivity.

Tho I've been reliably informed that unlike #Thuraya, one cannot do #Roaming with Iridium anymore so that feature is nowadays useless...

• Unless someone is able to hack-in a different SIM card if not build an entire aftermarket baseband.

But yeah, I'll leave that obscure hardware hunt to someone else...

@Rusty @snow Obviously that suggestion was #sarcasm.

• Given that they charge at minimum U$D 63,50 + tax per month just for the privilegue of being on their network, it's obviously #sarcasm.

Just like suggesting to use #Thuraya's #Android Smartphone...
