Agi: Inchiesta arbitri, il primo teste della Figc. Sentito l'avvocato Viglione

AGI - L'inchiesta sul calcio fa un 'salto' e arriva alla Figc con l'ascolto del responsabile legislativo della Federazione, l'avvocato Giancarlo Viglione, già 'braccio destro' dell'ex presidente Gabriele Gravina. Nel corso della testimonianza durata due ore e mezza, Viglione, rispondendo alle domande del pm Maurizio Ascione, ha spiegato anche come e perché maturò la decisione di inviare gli ispettori della FIGC a Lissone dopo la denuncia, firmata da Domenico Rocca e poi archiviata, sulle presunte 'bussate' di Gianluca Rocchi. Da quel momento, nessun 'organo tecnico', compreso il designatore autosospeso, si recò più nel centro dove si dirimono i casi dubbi di gioco.
Viglione è stato convocato anche per ricostruire la "cornice istituzionale" data la sua competenza ed esperienza considerando che l'AIA è 'interna' alla Figc. Il tema del Var e quello delle designazioni arbitrali, cuore dell'inchiesta che vede cinque indagati per frode sportiva, sono stati al centro della testimonianza così come sono gli argomenti dei capi d'imputazione al momento invariati.
Collaborazione con i magistrati
Fonti giudiziarie parlano di "una buona collaborazione" da parte di Viglione le cui dichiarazioni avrebbero fatto fare "un passo avanti" dal punto di vista della comprensione delle norme sportive che sono particolarmente complesse così come la giustizia sportiva non ha nulla a che vedere coi meccanismi di quella ordinaria.
Nel lungo colloquio si sono fatti riferimenti anche a delle intercettazioni che non è chiaro se abbiano visto anche Viglione come interlocutore.

Avvicinato dai cronisti dopo l'audizione con corridoio della stanza del pm presidiato dai carabinieri, Viglione ha confermato che uno dei temi trattati è stato quello dell'invio degli ispettori. "Sono venuto a fare un convegno, abbiamo parlato delle norme che regolano la Sala Var" ha detto Viglione riferendosi al puntiglioso approfondimento tecnico sulle norme e i temi che ha definito "di settore". Domattina è previsto l'ascolto di un altro testimone.

AGI - The investigation into Italian football has taken a “leap” and arrived at the FIGC (Italian Football Federation) with the testimony of the Federation’s legislative head, lawyer Giancarlo Viglione, formerly the “right-hand man” of former president Gabriele Gravina. Judicial sources speak of “a good collaboration” by Viglione, whose statements have made “a step forward” in terms of understanding sporting rules, which are particularly complex, and that the sports justice system has nothing to do with the mechanisms of the ordinary justice system.

References were also made during the lengthy interview to intercepted communications that it is unclear whether Viglione was also involved as a point of contact.

Viglione’s words after the hearing

Approached by journalists after the hearing in the prosecutor’s corridor, guarded by Carabinieri, Viglione confirmed that one of the topics discussed was the sending of the inspectors. “I came to attend a conference, we talked about the rules governing the VAR Room” Viglione said, referring to the meticulous technical examination of the rules and topics he described as “specialized.” Another witness is scheduled to be heard tomorrow.

Agi: Inchiesta calcio, anche Daniele Orsato sentito come testimone

AGI - Anche Daniele Orsato, riconosciuto come uno dei fuoriclasse dell'arbitraggio mondiale dell'ultimo decennio, all'inizio dell'indagine, quindi lo scorso anno, venne convocato e sentito come persona informata sui fatti nell'inchiesta con cinque indagati che ipotizza il reato di frode sportiva anche per presunte interferenze nelle stanze dove si dirimono i casi di gioco incerti.
Stando a quanto apprende l'AGI da fonti arbitrali, Orsato non si recò mai nella Sala Var di Lissone, scenario dove il pubblico ministero Maurizio Ascione ambienta una parte della sua indagine, e anche di questo avrebbe parlato col magistrato “smarcandosi” così da altre figure che invece, secondo le indagini, l'avrebbero frequentata sia come addetti sia condizionando con le “bussate” le decisioni sui casi dubbi.
La posizione di Orsato
Orsato non andò nella Sala Var né quando era ancora arbitro, fino all'agosto del 2024, né nel ruolo di Commissario per lo sviluppo del talento arbitrale dell'AIA, incarico a cui venne destinato dal gennaio del 2025 con il compito di seguire i giovani fischietti nell'evoluzione delle loro carriere.
