So I think I forgot to mention an unexpected and funny problem. I have a second desk to use for various things, including testing random computers, but the problem is that its in front of a window, so I don't really have space for a monitor. No problem, easy solution, wireless HDMI, so I picked up a cheap ($22 I think) set, plugged the transmitter into the computer, and the receiver into the TV that's nearby, and… Well that was a fiasco, but a hilarious one, first is that the image is in portrait mode, not landscape, so things were sideways. Got that sorted out, and then ran into the other problem that took a while to understand as I was being particularly dense, and isn't solved, instead I wound up just stretching my longest HDMI cable to it.
So what's the unsolvable problem? My wireless HDMI identifies as a 52" HiSense TV, and my TV is only 43 inches…
