What if the #true #value of an #activity is inversely proportional to how #convenient it is to do?
Or to the degree to which it is #mediated via specific #technological #constraints?

Or maybe this can show us how valuable activities are to us personally, à la "Would I still want to do this if it were really inconvenient?"

@GeofCox I must respectfully disagree. It makes absolutely no difference at all what the "mix" is - ALL the models are doomed. Our entire hydrocarbon-fuelled #technological, so-called #civilisation is doomed - just like all it predecessors since the Neolithic. We can make that process more, or less, painful - but it is inevitable, & - in historical terms - relatively imminent. It won't last much beyond 2050, if then.
