Es geht voran 😊 der Mantel bekommt gerade oben und innen zusammen genäht. Dann noch Ärmel, Saum, Knopflöcher und natürlich Knöpfe und bügeln und zwei drei fixier Dinge und voila 😃✨

I have been gone a while and didn’t tell you that my family and I had to go to a really fancy wedding a while back. Marie and Feenie had to wear long gowns. Carlo and I needed black suits and got them from a real tailor, who was a beautiful man and we both loved him. He saw us walk in, and immediately and accurately called out our suit sizes by eyeball. He called us “the only pair that beats a flush”. We were swept off of our feet. #wedding #tailoring #fancy

So. Ich hab Schulterpolster gemacht und es macht einen gewaltig fantastischen Unterschied 🤩 und ich hab nen zweiten mock-up gemacht, denn 18 von 20 Schnittteilen wurden verändert 😁🤭

Und jetzt geht's daran den richtigen Stoff zu bügeln und zu schneiden. Bin bisschen nervös.

Wir nähern uns, das mock-up zeigt alle Änderungen die noch passieren müssen und dann geht's los 🤩
Faszinierenderweise muss ich die Taille höher setzen als für gewöhnlich. Scheinbar war das in den 40ern eine andere Mode 😅 (sonst schiebe ich ja die Taille immer weiter runter)
