I did get the raspberries pruned and looked under the row covers. Tough winter, but spinach did well under one of the covers. #springcleaning

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - "Dozens of people spent their Saturday cleaning up Huntsville’s waterways.
"Huntsville’s Green Team and local volunteers spent time picking up trash and other debris from local streams.
"Organizers say it’s essential to keep the city clean to protect North #Alabama’s environment.
" 'This is a good place because, first of all, this water it is coming through Spring Branch, it’s flowing down South Huntsville to the Tennessee River. And a lot of it catches up here, it accumulates here,' said Dan Waldrop."

Diana GreenhalghAfter doing some more research & comparisons, I think the Bissell 19401 steam mop might be my best option for washing the floors. Budget friendly, pretty good reviews. It's basically a 1940 so it shares all the same features but lower price. Reviewers even gave instructions on how to avoid the pads getting smelly, etc.
Hopefully it's still on sale next month lol. We get a little extra via GST rebate in April.
In the meantime I'll try the vinegar method.

Another helpful hint from Joe. When trying to adjust the tension spring in a sliding screen door, put some tape (I used frog tape) on the outside bolts to hold them in place while you tighten the screws on the inside. Tape holds the outside bolts still while you tighten the part on the inside. The stickier the tape, the more torque you can apply before the tape moves. #SpringCleaning #HomeRepair #JoesHelpfulHints #ImNotARealHandyman
And I think I’ve found the trick to not warping window screens when replacing the screen. It’s that single cross piece that I don’t think was ever on my windows (I can’t remember that detail from 1996). I used one when I replaced a screen last weekend and it didn’t warp a bit. Now if I can only find some metal, instead of plastic, corner pieces that don’t deteriorate with time. #SpringCleaning #WindowScreens #HomeRepair
