Plenty of people call themselves speed printers but few of them will forget to set run_current and under-amp their steppers for nearly a year before noticing that their accels are probably lower than they should be…

Upping my currents from 0.8 to 1.1A has more than doubled my max accels.

I only toon 10 seconds of video but I happened to capture the exact moment it lost steps. You can see and hear it as it finishes the pedestal and starts on the legs.

I just flow rate tested ambrosia asa to 34mm^3/s; the fastest I’ve ever gotten on this machine (  +rapido2+clockwork2)

There are a few of us who print these #speedfox models from time to time as an alternative to #speedboatrace. So it’s time for another submission.

I call her “What Lost Steps?”

@koz congrats on setting the resin #speedfox record! 🎉🥳

My new Trident is nearly fully built and I couldn’t resist printing a #SpeedFox

- KVP Stellar Blue ABS
- Lightning Infill
- 22m 33s

That’s a lot faster than the 1h 12m I got with my PETG fox on my Prusa. This run basically pegged my extruder at 26VF the whole time. I might have a little more left in it but I didn’t want to push it *too* hard.

@3dprinting Now… I’m not saying I bought a voron kit just to up my #SpeedFox game, but I’m not not saying it.

@3dprinting Post your results on fedi with pictures and #SpeedFox to share.
