Is anyone out there running a crossbow cutter on their printer?
I like it. I find it to be way more consistent, reliable, and serviceable than my old Xol-metrix setup.
But wow does it rattle.
Anyone have a fix? I’m going to try some thick grease but if you have a clever solution, I’m all ears.

Crossbow: The filament cutter for A4T (and other toolheads with flat tops that fit sherpa-mini or orbiter v2.0 mounting pattern) - DW-Tas/Crossbow-Filament-Cutter
Every time my trident has an issue I curse the box turtle and assume it’s the failure.
It’s nearly always something else.
This time I got a tiny piece of filament stuck in the toolhead extruder gears in an invisible spot.
…But I definitely spent a day blaming the box turtle for failing to load filament.
Exploring the Debian (Bullseye) system inside my new Sovol SV06 ACE 3D printer.
SSH access works and the default account has root privileges.
Looks like a Rockchip RK3308 board running Klipper + Mainsail.
Before printing anything I'm making a full OS backup and inventory of what's installed.
Anyone else poking around inside the SV06 ACE at the system level?

Interactive 3D model of the Voron Trident 3D Printer now live.
Loaded the STEP into FreeCAD and exported to binary glTF (.glb), then deployed to a web viewer. You can rotate, zoom, and selectively hide panels to reveal the interior assembly. Model is ~64MB, best on a workstation browser.

I've got about a dozen 5-6 hour #3Dprint jobs to finish, so of course now is the perfect time for my filament sensor to go wonky.
I've had this Prusa MK3S+ for a good long while; basically since this model was first available. It's tremendously reliable, usually. But it is showing its age, I suppose.
Time to build a #voron ? Or should I be saving up for a Core One+?
I am firmly in the Open Hardware and #RepRap camp, so I'm really not open to considering a Bambulab printer
