Had a cartoon like encounter on our #dogwalk on Saturday. Rizzo purposefully strode towards a hedge where she came upon, to her delight, a pheasant, all curled up in a pile of leaves...it was fast asleep and actually snoring! I managed to keep her back from it, and it opened an eye, realised what was happening and burst out of the undergrowth and flew/ ran down the road and out of sight.
