some frost on the cars this morning, gave a chance to experiment some more with the 20x zoom attachment to my phone - not perfect I know, but I'm learning! I took a peek ahead in the macro photography assignments book, and there's one on ice etc, MANY weeks from now, and I can't imagine I'll have access to natural ice by then, so I might end up reusing some of those when I get there. In the meantime, these basically look like a junior microscope!

Cold and frosty days just now, with beautiful blue skies.
I keep looking at the little things and enjoying them. Like:
The light through flower petals.
The ice in the puddles.
The way the frost interacts with the dead fern leaves we leave in the garden as sheltering spots for insects.
