❄️Scenes of Winter by Austrian painter Franz Sedlacek. The artist, whose work often took a gloomier tone, faught for the Nazi regime during WWII, battling on the front lines in Poland Russia and Norway. However he has been credited with saying “In my work I can say with colors what I think of my contemporaries without being sent to a concentration camp” … a surprising statement to be sure. So back in 2012 an animated .gif of a bunch of 80s/90s-looking skiiers dancing around was widely circulating, and I couldn't help but pick out this awesome lady and drew a bit of a travel poster featuring her. XD
