#TheHiteReport was critical to my understanding and appreciation of #female #sexuality and, along with my follow up and overdue reading of #WomenOnTop and then #MySecretGarden, fundamental to my very open and nonjudgmental views on how people, especially non-males, choose to seek and find pleasure by themselves, and consensually with others.

But it's interesting to note that Shere Hite's claims she was in an ad for the typewriter with the heading "The typewriter that’s so smart she doesn’t have to be" seems to be something of a self generated myth. The blogger here has done a search of Olivetti ads and has been unable to come up with anything close. Indeed, a Google image search should return numerous examples of the offending ad but doesn't.
