This was a recent stunt pulled by the wingnuts in the #BCLegislature. Interesting in itself but what I find even more concerning is the lack of coverage by the mass media, no #CBC or even #TheTyee. The only thing I could find was this letter to the ed at an obscure news site, and various organs of the #NDP. #BC #journalism

ps. We’re well into salmon spawning season here on Vancouver Island. The Campbell River, an historic river for very large Chinook/Spring salmon, will soon see thousands (millions?) of these fish returning to spawn after four years at sea. The BIG ones are the “tyee,” or “King” salmon.
