Nothing fancy and full of mistakes - but I'm proud (sort of) of it and my non-binary child is now sleeping the first night blissfully under it's rainbow quilt.

My work for the next days: Sewing this flowers and butterflies (there ist batting underneath each, glued with textile glue) with ladder stitch all around the edges on the bought pillow case (80 x 80 cm). After this it is quilting time. 🧵
(Not everything is my colour palette/pattern, but it's especially requested by my kid. I sew a relatively simple quilt blanket out of big blocks in rainbow colours last year for my child and will also appliqué butterflies and my beloved rainbow-flowers on this.)

ForestofgloryFor #DecRecs today I'm reccing a sewing pattern! Twig+ Tale's Driftwood Blouse + Dress. I have made the blouse version of this at least 20 times in different sizes for the kid. (and a couple for other kids) This pattern is straight forward to sew. It's lose fitting which is great for play, and the cuffed sleeves mean that I can make it big and sleeves will not fall all over the kids hands. Also great for showing off cute fabric!
