This whole situation makes me extremely sad for the state of America, a Country that I moved to and in 2013 became a Naturalized Citizen, declared to be so by a Federal Judge in Frankfort, Kentucky.
In that Courtroom I was one of 50 people from all over the world that had made this request, and took the Oath of Allegiance, pledging support for the U.S. Constitution. I was proud to be an International, standing next to a man in a turban, and be an active part of the melting pot or salad bowl, (you pick the metaphor that works for you), that is the United States of America.
Supporting Dictator Putin is not the America that I joined. We should all be supporting the independence of Ukraine, sharing the sense of freedom that we should be feeling here in the States. (I did say "should be").
