Love this rectangular top-floor oriel window on James Miller's wonderful Caledonian Mansions on Great Western Road in Glasgow. Built the 1890s, its described as being Arts and Crafts, Glasgow Style and Art Nouveau, but to me this feature is pure Scots Baronial and can be seen on a number of buildings constructed in this style around the city, such as the former Billings warehouse on Brunswick Street in the Merchant City.

Part of the facade of a rather wonderful Scots Baronial warehouse on the corner of Brunswick Street and Ingram Street in Glasgow. It was designed by R.W. Billings and was built in 1854. The original building behind the facade was replaced by a new building in the 1980s.

The Scots Baronial style Blairtum House in Rutherglen on the outskirks of Glasgow. Built in 1878, it was originally constructed as a manse.

Love the Scots Baronial detailing in Dixon Halls on the border between Govanhill and Crosshill on the Southside of Glasgow. Built as municipal building in 1879, it was designed by Frank Stirrat.

I love this view of James Miller's 1897 Caledonian Mansions standing high above the River Kelvin on the West End of Glasgow. On the left you can see where a train track once led to the old Kelvinbridge Railway Station, marked by an iron girder, which was connected to this building. This station closed in the 1950s.
