This is probably Steve Jobs' most direct contribution to OS X – wallpapers in OS X Leopard (10.5) created from pictures he took in Japan. Last year, I was standing in the same location as he was when he took the rock garden picture (Ryoanji temple in Kyoto) more than two decades ago. Fascinating.

Just across the road from our teahouse (and office) is Japan's most famous zen garden...a riddle written in gravel and rocks.
Intended to focus the mind, over the years many have tried to unravel the garden's meaning.
