#TimeTravelingGhost EP 7 Part 73: 12 May 1999: London

I was already drawing unwanted attention by talking to thin air. Attention, I didn’t want. If this continued, someone would spot me as a fake.

“Excuse me, I’m new here. Could you point me to the way out?” I asked a fresh-faced nurse who paused to look at me. I definitely had to get out of there; my American accent was a big liability.

The woman pointed, and I headed in that direction.

I was almost at the door when I stopped. Seated in the waiting room, a young teen was reading a copy of “A Wrinkle in Time.”

I stared as a memory surfaced.

When I was young, we traveled to Great Britain, where my mother was in an accident. While I was stuck in the hospital, waiting for her, I read most of that book. That's what first sparked my interest in time-travel. I bet I read everything I could find on the subject.

“Oh!” I squealed as a man walked by and sat down next to the girl. He had just groped my ass.

I was #rendered silent by the outrage, but Emily wasn’t. “#Masher,” she spat. If she hadn’t been incorporeal, I think she would have slapped him or worse.

I didn’t tell her he was my father.

All rise for King Tiberius IV Shugor of Umbrana. 👑
Cloaked in green to flaunt his fortune, standing tall (and stylish) in royal heels. His presence commands the room — and the story.

Decided on a whim to try 3D modelling a character! I also was thinking of doing it low poly to make it easier on myself, but ended up getting a bit carried away lol

It's also nice to think of the seams of a model for texturing applied to, like, actually being seams on a pooltoy.

I also don't know how to actually *render* the image, as it just looks like a drab grey thing when I do, so this is just a screenshot of it being as good as I was hoping for.

Still learning! There's still a long way to go, like weight painting is still very wonky for me and sometimes it doesn't look good when I bend the skeleton. This was also mostly just made on the basis of like: "oh a bendy bones option? that sounds like a good thing for a pooltoy, *click*" and seeing what happens to the model.

[sub]sorry for rambling hope you enjoy!!![/sub]
