I started out as just a guy visiting a site, like we all were.
Little by little, I rediscovered the magic of community as I contributed to the weird world of Reddit.
Now I feel acutely aware of how important it is for us to actively preserve our stuff outside corporate manipulation.

I miss #Reddit, but it's really nice to have so much of my life back. The mindless scrolling was consuming a huge chunk of my life.
I went for a bike ride last night just for kicks, and tonight I just might finish a project I've been tinkering with for months.
The ubiquity of the current #RedditDark protest shines a huge spotlight on the successes of their moderation model. Which got me curious. How big are the #AutoModerator rulesets for individual subreddits?

I guess we can't trust corporate social media for literally anything. But they still have the vast majority of the user base and by extension all the feedback and actual "networking" opportunities.
