The ubiquity of the current #RedditDark protest shines a huge spotlight on the successes of their moderation model. Which got me curious. How big are the #AutoModerator rulesets for individual subreddits?
If you're a mod or might know one, please boost + share accordingly.
I’m not very active on #reddit anymore, but I’m still on the mod team for the subreddit I helped to build. It’s massive now. Our team of moderators is talking about what to do, and the question is: where can we move to? Well, nowhere. We have a team of dedicated moderators and make extensive use of a bot called #AutoModerator. Without moderation and that tool, we would not be able to maintain the quality content that the community is known for.
And so that is a pretty big problem.
