Melbourne researchers have discovered crucial new information about how microbes consume huge amounts of carbon monoxide (CO) and help reduce levels of this deadly gas.

If while wandering around the #forest (middle latitudes) you have found rotting wood with a green-blue color...it is #wood affected by the #fungus of the genus #Chlorociboria.This color has nothing to do with copper oxides. This green-blue color is given by #xylindein, a substance of the #quinone group, which is unique to this genus of fungus.
