Hier #fungifact wenn ihr auffällig blaugrün gefärbtes, morsches Holz im Wald seht, wird diese vom #Grünspanbecherling (green elfcup) verursacht. Der Farbstoff heißt #Xylindein. Das so verfärbte Holz wurde seit dem 14. Jhdt für wertvolle Intarsienarbeiten verwendet, weil die Farbe sehr beständig ist. If while wandering around the #forest (middle latitudes) you have found rotting wood with a green-blue color...it is #wood affected by the #fungus of the genus #Chlorociboria.This color has nothing to do with copper oxides. This green-blue color is given by #xylindein, a substance of the #quinone group, which is unique to this genus of fungus.
