Il est magnifique le pont de Nyons. Barjavel a grandi là, ce qui lui a inspiré Ravage apparemment, je n'ai lu que La Nuit Des Temps, celui-là était plus Pétainiste (merci France 5).

The lovely, old, Victorian Swing Bridge over the Tyne at #BlueHour , the High Level road & rail bridge (designed by Robert Stephenson, son of the famous George) behind & above it. It's thought it sits close to where older Medieval & Roman bridges once spanned the Tyne.

Le Viaduc de Garabit, cet édifice ferroviaire, doté d’une arche monumentale, a été le plus grand ouvrage métallique du monde ! Il fut un véritable laboratoire en vue de la construction de la Tour Eiffel.

Some views along the Quayside in #Newcastle . Pity the Baltic isn't open on Mondays or Tuesdays, as I really wanted to visit.

Surprised such a major gallery is closed two days of the week, quite disappointing.

Been walking with the camera for four hours, time to sit in a bar by the river, rest and rehydrate. Then more pics before the evening train home.
