I am thinking of flying into KMIC (Crystal Airport in Minneapolis) but their lack of FBO and from pilot comments stating minimal tie downs has me rethinking it (especially since it’s winter 🥶)

An Information for all foreign FAA License holders, like myself. According to the recent newsletter from AOPA Germany, all FAA license holder are required to present the FAA a US postal address. Effective July 7th 2025. If you fail to provide the address, all privileges on the license will be suspended.
AOPA Germany is working on a „affordable“ solution. Whatever that means.

Due to the forecast for Saturday being storms, my #EAA chapter decided to cancel the Young Eagles rally we had planned that morning. That is unfortunate as I always love watching the kids get excited to fly but as a pilot I do not mess around with storms.
