@kirkfzero.bsky.social and I decided to make our own art-challenge for June: Only ONE prompt a week for my slow and easily overwhelmed ass, and we took turns making them up, each week has two related options—

Claire went with "a saved image on your phone/pc OR from a magazine/book".

...So I painted the grumpy neighborhood cat I photographed last month. I've forgotten how to use this brush.

Here is the linocut style 🐬 pair that we were trying on #LiveYetVirtual session on 19th May, which I finally finished today.
The second one is a modified version of the #art where I added a water texture just for fun.

Tonight we wanted to draw a quick fake linocut as practice for our actual t-shirt design plans. And @titanraj specifically wanted to draw dolphins.

We don't know who the original photo is from, but it's a very common poster, apparently.

Botched most of the fun details this time. I'm blaming being a "whole" week out of practice, and trying to draw the hyper-compresed Discord embed instead of the full image like a boomer! :D
