I sure hope the one player who follows me on Mastodon doesn't read this. Because they won't. They only log in to steal cat pictures.

After five sessions of me running the adventure Vampire Cruise by Amanda lee Franck pretending it's a maritime heist movie and that there weren't any vampires or anything supernatural in it, with all "weird things" coated in a veneer of plausible deniability, I just used the V word to describe an NPC mid interrogation scene. Panicked. Swore. Asked myself if I had just said "vampire" out loud, confirming to all players that they didn't mishear me.

I don't think I'll ever sleep again.
