Het Buitenom in Den Haag is anno 2026 een vrij rustige gracht. Ter hoogte van de historische poort die naar het Binnendoor leidt scheurt af en toe een scooter of auto voorbij, maar dynamisch kun je de plek niet noemen. Dat was zo'n honderd jaar geleden wel anders. Toen zat meubel- en vliegtuigfabriek Pander op die locatie en was het altijd druk en hectisch op de gracht.
