I've been having trouble starting on a new painting so I decided to do a quick painting without any of the prep work I normally do (I'm not usually a spontaneous painter - I do a bunch of planning, sketches, value studies, etc before I do a final painting). This was pretty fun though and hopefully will get me in a more artistic frame of mind.

Just a wee post to say i’m still here… I have had THE BIGGEST case of painter’s block of my life! There have been times in the past when I haven’t had any good ideas and I’ve painted random things just to be in the studio but this time was different.
