She sung a #paean to the neverending wind, and let #gravity take hold. After #plummeting for half a lifetime—someone caught her. A passing god, riding a chariot pulled by wolves, smelling of smoke and blood.

Whether she was a pastor or a mere worshiper, she would fight with a mighty wrath to defend her god; Kane knew he would do the same if someone tried to harvest power from Rithkaleen The Buried, so he hid and waited for the woman to leave. The best way to win a fight was to avoid it altogether, and it would be a shame to miss the end of such a beautiful song.
