#Ukrainian sumo wrestler #Danylo_Yavhusishyn (#Aonishiki_Arata) won the #Hatsu_Basho and claimed the #Emperors_Cup for the second consecutive time.

In the tournament playoff, #Danylo defeated the Japanese wrestler #Atamifuji. As a result, #Danylo became the third #European in history to win the #Hatsu_Basho. In addition, #Yavhusishyn became the first #ōzeki in 20 years to win the first grand tournament after being promoted in rank.

Just finished A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki... it was wonderful. Combines modern Japanese culture with historic Japanese culture (buddhist as well as second world war) with rural Canada and some time warping.

I got this suggestion some time ago through #bookstodon and am so glad I did!

2. Another incredible student recommended Haruki #Murakami's What I Talk about When I Talk about Running. I have started it and it's inspiring me to continue working on another #memoir that is in its infant phase.
