Kotoshoho got Fighting Spirit AND had 2nd highest score. I'm so proud!! Guessing I'll see him at east or west 2 maegashira in July? KOTOSHOHO I LOVE YOU

Looking at the results from lower juryo and upper makushita, I don't think Enho is going to make it into juryo for next basho, I think he's going to end up at east 1 makushita. This sucks and I hate it, but if he gets kachikoshi he'd move into juryo for September basho.

Part of me is hoping they just move the poor man up already, but it would also be great for my birthday basho to be the one where he got kachikoshi to move up.

大相撲令和８年春場所感想 - 化けない狐のB級応援！

霧島が久々の優勝、そして大関復帰を決めました。陥落以降も実質大関として活躍をしてきた霧島でしたが、いつもあと一歩復帰に届かなかった霧島。特例を使わない復帰の難しさを感じさせられていましたが、ついに念願叶いました。これまで実力の抜けていた３力士は、大の里がまさかの連敗で休場、入幕からずっと２桁勝利を続けていた安青錦は綱取りどころではなく負け越し。様々な記録が途絶えました。唯一豊昇龍は優勝を争いましたが、またしても横綱としての初優勝には届かず。その他の幕内勢にも目立った大勝ちの力士は少なく苦しい場所でしたが、そんな中で安定感のある力士が順当に勝ち上がったという印象です。琴櫻は地味ながら、久々…

Well the yusho is already in the books, but there are a few people on the edge of their kachikoshi: Shodai, Oho, Fujinokawa, Daieisho, Oho, and Aonishiki. Beyond that we’ve got Asahakuryu (on his 2nd maegashira appearance), Kotoshoho, and Hoshoryu at 10-4 looking to pick up one more win.
