Trying to clean #sealice off #openpen farmed #salmon, #Cermaq #Canada killed a reported 817,000 wild #fish, mostly #juvenile #herring - a #keystonespecies on the #Pacific #coast.

Even #DFO staff were worried about "significant negative attention" from releasing the data.

The #Canadian govt. has still not released plans for promised 2025 transition from open pens.
