To all of you other photographers out there; how do you respond when somebody asks you to take a photo of them during nighttime (especially knowing this never happens to you during daytime, when light conditions obviously are a lot better)?
It happened to me on this particular evening at the lighthouse of Desenzano del Garda when a guy asked me if I wanted to take his photo, I politely declined like I usually do as I simply have no interest in photographing people (let alone in the evening with a not overly great in camera flash), and he did not take that very well. Luckily he just walked away, but I was relieved things didn't turn ugly.
