World Cup 2026 and relocation on Lake Garda: Diletta Leotta is moving to a dream villa this summer, a luxury base with a dizzying price.

A villa on Lake Garda and the whole family following her: Diletta Leotta has chosen Salò as a base for the World Championships followed on DAZN. The presenter moved into a rented residence, where she organized her summer period between television commitments and private life.

The rented property by the presenter is located in Salò, on the Brescia shore of Garda, and is a high-level villa of approximately 550 square meters. The property is surrounded by a large outdoor area, exceeding 7,000 square meters between garden and open spaces. Inside there is a pool and seven bedrooms overlooking the lake. According to Corriere della Sera, the value of the property would be around 5.5 million euros.

With her are her husband Loris Karius, returning from the end of the season in Germany culminating in promotion to the Bundesliga with Schalke 04, her parents and grandchildren, together with her children Aria and the little Leonardo, born on May 9th.

The connection between Diletta Leotta and Lake Garda

Salò is not an isolated choice. The bond between Leotta and Lake Garda has been going on for some time. The first vacations in the area date back to 2023, when she had stayed in Gargnano for a few days. Afterwards she returned to Garda to Padenghe, guest of an exclusive resort, always together with family and friends. Over the years, the area has become a recurring destination for periods of rest.

Meanwhile work continues: Leotta remains committed to DAZN for the coverage of the World Championships (which will begin on June 11th and end on July 18th), between Milan and some trips to the United States.

Il 16 maggio i festeggiamenti per il compleanno dell'ASI faranno tappa sul Lago di Garda: a Bardolino, dove tutto ebbe inizio con la firma costitutiva 60 anni fa, e a Gardone Riviera, dove al Vittoriale degli Italiani sarà celebrata l'automobile come musa ispiratrice di d'Annunzio e del Futurismo.
La giornata si aprirà a Bardolino, sulla sponda veneta del Lago di Garda, con l'esecuzione in piazza Matteotti dell'Inno d'Italia a cura della Banda Filarmonica e con l'inaugurazione della mostra di modellismo presso Palazzo Gelmetti. A contorno di un'esposizione di sessanta veicoli storici si terrà un convegno sull'evoluzione dello stile automobilistico. Il momento clou sarà quindi l'inaugurazione della targa commemorativa per la nascita di ASI. Questo legame tra territorio e storia sottolinea come Bardolino non sia solo punto di partenza geografico, ma anche simbolico dell'intera celebrazione.
Il cuore culturale dell'evento si sposterà nel pomeriggio al Vittoriale degli Italiani a Gardone Riviera, dimora di Gabriele d'Annunzio e luogo simbolo dell'estetica e della visione del Vate, oggi guidato da Giordano Bruno Guerri, che negli anni ne ha rafforzato il ruolo come centro culturale vivo e contemporaneo, rendendolo una delle case-museo più visitate al mondo. Qui, tra arte e memoria, dalle 15.30 si svilupperà una riflessione sul rapporto tra uomo, macchina e velocità, temi centrali nell'immaginario dannunziano.
Il legame tra d'Annunzio e l'automobile è profondo e anticipatore: il poeta vedeva nel motore e nella velocità una nuova forma di espressione estetica, capace di incarnare modernità, potenza e spirito eroico. L'automobile, per lui, non era solo un mezzo di trasporto, ma simbolo di progresso e di tensione verso il futuro, in sintonia con le suggestioni del Futurismo. Inoltre, fu lo stesso Vate a cambiarne il genere da maschile a femminile.

This link between territory and history shows that Bardolino is not just a geographical starting point, but also symbolic of the entire celebration.

The cultural heart of the event will move in the afternoon to the Vittoriale degli Italiani in Gardone Riviera, the home of Gabriele d’Annunzio and a symbol of aesthetics and the Vate’s vision, now led by Giordano Bruno Guerri, who has strengthened its role over the years as a living and contemporary cultural center, making it one of the most visited house-museums in the world. Here, between art and memory, from 3:30 pm onwards, a reflection on the relationship between man, machine and speed will develop, central themes in d’Annunzio’s imagination.

The link between d’Annunzio and the automobile is deep and anticipatory: the poet saw in the engine and speed a new form of aesthetic expression, capable of embodying modernity, power, and heroic spirit. The automobile, for him, was not just a means of transport, but a symbol of progress and a tension towards the future, in harmony with the suggestions of Futurism. Furthermore, it was the Vate himself who changed its gender from masculine to feminine.

Il Tempo: Comunicato Stampa: Consiglio Veneto approva all'unanimità Progetto di legge che tutela l'ecosistema del lago di Garda

Il Consiglio regionale del Veneto ha approvato oggi all'unanimità il Progetto di legge n. 14, “Modifiche alla L.R. n. 52/1989 ‘Disciplina del demanio lacuale e della navigazione sul Lago di Garda'”, che era incardinato nella Seconda commissione consiliare, e che è stato illustrato in Aula dal primo firmatario, il Capogruppo di Stefani Presidente, Matteo Pressi, e dal Correlatore, la consigliera regionale Anna Maria Bigon (Pd).
Il Correlatore Bigon ha osservato come servano “politiche integrate di prevenzione dell'inquinamento, in particolare delle acque, che può avere effetti diretti e indiretti sulla salute umana, animale e ambientale. La proposta normativa coglie l'esigenza reale di protezione ambientale, ma va integrata coinvolgendo le diverse parti e gli enti interessati. Abbiamo presentato un ordine del giorno per portare in Seconda commissione consiliare l'aggiornamento periodico degli impatti che questa legge avrà.”
Il Capogruppo di Forza Italia, Alberto Bozza, ha ricordato che “il Progetto di legge era stato portato avanti nella scorsa legislatura dal collega Enrico Corsi, e oggi trova compimento per salvaguardare le acque del Lago di Garda, la biodiversità e l'ecosistema ittico. È frutto di un accordo tra il Veneto, la Lombardia e la Provincia Autonoma di Trento, enti che insistono sul Lago di Garda, lo specchio acqueo più grande d'Italia. Si tratta quindi di un investimento importante, non solo per l'ambiente, ma anche per il sistema produttivo.”

Press Release: Veneto Regional Council unanimously approves bill to protect the Lake Garda ecosystem.

The Veneto Regional Council unanimously approved Bill n. 14 today, “Amendments to Law No. 52/1989 ‘Regulation of Aquatic Domanes and Navigation on Lake Garda’”, which was referred to the Second Council Committee, and which was presented in the Chamber by the main sponsor, Matteo Pressi, Group Leader of Stefani President, and the Rapporteur, regional councilor Anna Maria Bigon (Pd).

Rapporteur Bigon observed that “integrated policies of pollution prevention, particularly of waters, are needed, which can have direct and indirect effects on human, animal and environmental health. The regulatory proposal captures the real need for environmental protection, but it must be integrated by involving the various parties and interested bodies. We presented a motion to refer the periodic updates of the impacts that this law will have to the Second Council Committee.”

Group Leader of Forza Italia, Alberto Bozza, recalled that “the Bill was carried forward in the previous legislature by colleague Enrico Corsi, and today finds completion to safeguard the waters of Lake Garda, biodiversity, and the fish ecosystem. It is the result of an agreement between Veneto, Lombardy, and the Autonomous Province of Trento, entities that insist on Lake Garda, the largest inland body of water in Italy. It is therefore an important investment, not only for the environment, but also for the productive system.”
