Three little Kazim sticker designs.

I've had a blast figuring out how to chibify horses, without tapping into MLP:FiM too much. (Those are a great stylisation of horses, with a utilitarian approach for an easier animation pipeline, but they're not something I wanted to mimic.) I might still need some refining here and there, but for an early-ish attempt I like them!

Kazim is a Sentinel, the physical manifestation of a world's soul. Usually, they can change shapes, mimic the creatures that call the world their home. Both to blend in and just for fun, or whatever they need at any given moment. Mortals aren't really their concern most of the time anyway. They just die too quickly for somebody, who's been around since the dawn of time (well, whenever the world came into being). But sometimes a mortal gets close still.


Due to some decision they made about two millenia ago, which recently-ish came back to haunt them, they're currently stuck in a horse body. And they're not happy about their freedoms curtailed and powers diminished. Least of all, they're mourning the loss of their daughter.


I only recently arrived at the word "Sentinel" for them and Kyu. It feels more ancient-y than "Guardian," which I'd used before. And much more recent is my decision, that maybe he/him pronouns aren't feeling right for them. They're not part of any sex/gender in that sense, though, they more often than not choose male-presenting shapes to shift into.

This was supposed to be "just a doodle".... nothing just or doodle about it anymore. I guess, sometimes you need to follow where your creativity is going.

Either way, I present you with a glimpse of Kyu before she was Kyu.

At the time the story takes place, she's lost her memories and has about lost hope of ever regaining them. (Aaaaaand, she won't, that hard drive is wiped clean.) Sometimes there are glimpses, images, but at best they're like déjà vu, nothing tangible and lacking all sorts of context.
While trying on some fancier clothes for a festival there is a short moment of familiarity, but it goes as quickly as it appeared.

(Also, I'm jealous of that hair volume xD)

Liam is my villain. He fusses over aesthetics and optics, making all of his thralls wear a maid outfit. He also finds his vampire nature to be primitive and doesn't show his monster face or bite his victims. Instead, he uses knives or has his thralls drain his victims for him so he can enjoy a nice glass of blood wine.
