Schade, dass #firefoxos nicht weiter entwickelt wird. Denn, wie du schreibst, würde alles im Browser gehen (Web APP). Da hatten wohl die US Techs was dagegen. ;-(

Thanks to the great people on #XDA #Forums my old and pretty much unusable #SamsungTablet #SMT295 is now running Android 14(with #noGAPPS of course) and it's usable again!
Clearly it is not lighting fast, but compared to the slow and blown stock software it looks like so.

I fucking hate Signal
This buggy half-proprietary mess secretly logged out my matrix bridge, refuses to receive any messages on my phone with #nogapps, drains the battery anyways and thus made me miss out on important messages
All while claiming to be open and free.

Fuck the Signal Messenger LLC, shove your Google dependencies up your ass, fuck your "no-third party clients" policy, fuck your proprietary backend component, fuck your phone number grabbing scheme

- google allenfalls via #torbrowser
- #GrapheneOS #nogapps #netguard
- #Firefox mit addons

Allerdingd fällt in dem Moment, wenn die KFZ-Werkstatt oder das Straßenverkehrsamt MS365 nutzt.

@m_schultheiss wieso bezechnest du den aurora store als Kompromiss? Mit dem bin ich ganz deutlich auf der "ohne GApps" Seite. Das wesentliche beim Verzichtet auf GApps ist es, die Google play services zu eliminieren. Geht übrigens auch bei vielen stock ROM. #noGApps
