As I have accumulated a collection of Scouting Scarves/Neckers/Neckies (select your preference) & I am no longer raising money for my own Scout Group during my upcoming Charity Walk, it occurred to me just now I should use it was an opportunity to wear one of them.

It could also be a hot day so an alternative to the wool of my Group Necker seems appealing.

Tough choice ahead. ⚜️

Today’s post was 100% Scouting and 50% expected.

The answer to my recent cryptic purchase posts was a Necker made from old Scout Tents from In-Tents Creations. (You may remember my apron from them in a previous post about a year ago.)

Scouts Scotland unveiled an International Necker today. I quite like it, it could have been twee, so it’s nice to see the design is sound. (A lighter blue for Saltire than usual.) I like the way the current UK one looks. I wonder how many will dual wear them.

I’d imagine Cub Leaders don’t get many opportunities to go abroad. It’s bound to be much less than Scout & Explorer Leaders because of the ages involved.
