Got a delivery of woggles in today. (Great as always from Burntstuff.)

And I think I have my Beaver Leader name. 😆 🦦

I hadn’t really given it any thought even though I’ve been attending ours for well over a year. I’m not an official Leader for them and ours use their real first names like all our other Sections.

I’d certainly consider adopting a Section name. I already know what my Squirrel one would be if I needed one.

I may have lost the first woggle I made. Currently classing it as mislaid, as I was fairly sure I had it when I came home from…

I just remembered where it is as I was typing the above. Was about to say I wore a different necker to Beavers this week and was sure I had it when I returned from Scouts…and *click*…I remembered I would have needed to put a woggle on the necker I chose to wear to Beavers.

Funny how the mind works! 😆 ⚜️

A day full of Firsts.

This afternoon I did some paracord crafts for the first time, and with it I learned various knots for the first time too.

I made a Woggle for the first time. A Sailor’s Knot/Turk’s Head Knot.
And then went into do a Poppy Keyring. A Sailor’s Knot/Turk’s Head Knot, a Lanyard Knot and a Cobra Lanyard Knot.

Both were kits. Not impressed with the instructions overall, particularly for the woggle. Had to go elsewhere.
