A fine new #OpenAccess paper by my colleagues at NCF #ncfindia jointly with #agroforestry owners/managers, highlighting the potential of shade #coffee agroforests as native plant and seed sources to support #EcologicalRestoration and diversifying native saplings for agroforests themselves. This also holds the potential for more ethical seed and seedling sourcing and reducing the native seed collection impacts/dependence on #forest remnants.

Tropical #rainforests in the making... Saplings of over 100 species of native trees in the Nature Conservation Foundation #ncfindia rainforest plant nursery in the Anamalais being nurtured for #EcologicalRestoration planting in a couple of months. The nursery is housed in space provided by partner #TataCoffee.
