When the braggart Capitano Testosteroné is saved from a storm ravaged shipwreck at sea by a mysterious woman in the waves, a craze of fantastical wonder washes ashore in "The Mermaids of Venice", a farce that combines traditional Renaissance comedy with historic folklore! But would we be allowed to get a stage at Pennsic that wet?

Another play we are almost definitely encoring is "Arlecchino, Emperor on the Moon", a project of several years that first "launched" this past spring at Ohio State University for an astronomy themed medieval conference. But maybe the stars will be right again this summer at Pennsic 2026!
