New quest: build a powerful mini-ITX or similar tiny form factor PC to use with #MODaudio

I need a good class compliant USB audio interface to pair. Then, I'll have a portable system to do anything with!

The SW that runs on the #MODdwarf can run on any machine. I've been waiting years for these to be back in stock. Now, after spending a small fortune on other digital equipment, I'm debating selling it all.

Grmpf ... J'aurais bien envie de participer au #100DaysOfPractice mais je sens que c'est un peu trop contraignant pour moi. Ce qui est dommage parce que ça tombe pile quand je retrouve de la motivation pour composer et enregistrer 😏
Comme je rentre souvent tard chez moi c'est compliqué de jouer vraiment tous les jours.
Pour compenser je geeke sur le matos, j'ai un setup plutôt efficace maintenant, j'ai acheté un DSM Simplifier et c'est vraiment pratique - quoiqu'un peu cher. Et j'ai ressorti la #moddwarf qui se configure via navigateur donc pas de problème sous linux, je ne regrette pas de l'avoir prise celle-là - malgré ses défauts.

Exemples :
- Mooer qui a beaucoup d'effets avec accès BT + appli tel
- Tsakalis une boîte grecque qui fournit des apps linux 😲 mais c'est la seule boîte que je connaisse dans ce domaine qui fasse ça. Après ils livrent juste un binaire en ELF 😅 ouais on est loin de l'idéal (mais ça marche).
- interface web via BT ou ETH, j'ai la #moddwarf par exemple, pas d'appli, le device intègre un serveur web, on se connecte avec un navigateur. Ya aussi Headrush qui fait ça sur ses multi-effets.
Bref : il faut faire gaffe, ya pas grand chose de dispo ...

Tracker is sequencing the 303, all other sounds are samples coming from my various instruments packs for Tracker/Play (link below).

Mod Dwarf is used as a FX box, with a custom "live mastering" chain.

Got my #moddwarf yesterday and am really happy. I'm a total noob when it comes to pedals and pedalboards, so I just now figured out what I really needed for my bass to sound better was a low pass filter 😂 But I can't wait to go crazy with pedalboards in the future. Love the approach of leveraging #opensource and am itching to finally try my first baby steps at writing audio plugins as well!
