Baking a 2Lb/1Kg loaf today using Holdfast wheat. I left the bran etc in this time when I milled it. The first rise is something else: "leave to rise until doubled in size" 😱
Today in #homebaking I'm trying a "white" loaf, again with #mulika grain and have sifted out all the bran (will be used to make muesli) with a 0.5mm sieve. It's currently at the autolyse stage and then it'll be time for the Saturday #dogwalk. It's all go here!
