____________
1. Também chamados de "áreas de trabalho". Em inglês: workspaces.

I've got a Lenovo ThinkPad X200 Tablet with 2GB RAM currently running Mint but I'm thinking of going with #PuppyLinux.

I've also got an Asus with 12GB RAM that's grinding to a halt on Windoze 8 on which I think #MintCinnamon would be slick.

And an Acer with 4GB RAM that is forcing my partner to upgrade to a machine that can run Windoze 11, but she only needs a browser for the few things she does on it. I'm thinking #MintXFCE.

Any guidance or recommendations? Thx in advance.

I've been running #MintCinnamon for years. It just works, and never gets in the way, which is what I prefer nowadays.

I also wouldn't mind kicking the tires on a couple of the immutable distros, but the days just keep getting shorter.

For the first time in over a decade, I'll probably install #Linux on the desktop again, and see what the current state of #LinuxOnTheDesktop is. :)
Currently leaning towards #LinuxMint in either #MintCinnamon or #XFCE flavour (or install the other on the side, afterwards, so I can compare), or have a look at #PopOS and/or #ElementaryOS.
Though I am also tempted to try out any of the many #TilingWM available.
Suggestions?
