Due to the nature of time itself, distinct activities usually form a sequence of steps (unless the rare special case that they are unrelated); one that often also cannot be turned around.
Calling some sequence of steps a #waterfall or #miniWaterfall doesn't make sense, because with this line of thinking anything could be called #waterfall.
Sadly, I see this line of argument way too often and ask myself whether people really know what #waterfall is.
