You're buying into the narrative of the thin blue line that without the state and police people would become violent. Most people are worried about warlords after dismantling the state but thats the situation were in right now

If you have power of any kind it will concentrate over time that is a material force "checks and balances" dont mean anything its just fancy words and procedures, violence is the root of all political power

As a #geolibertarian, I generally support people's #rights to settle where they like and build what they like, so long as they are properly compensating the community for the #consequences of their actions; however, there is a natural limit to #freedom.

That limit obviously exists where individual choices, either alone or in the aggregate, pose #existential risks to the community.

#Libertarianism is not a synonym for #Anarchism, nor is libertarianism necessarily a belief in #Minarchism.
