I'm trying to wrap my head around how #MastodonEngineering / #Mastodondev happens, particularly around planning and proposals.

It seems like this is all through github issues marked `suggestion`. This seems to result in a large number of suggestions addressing the same general issue and I can't find any central point for discussion of the issue to develop a coherent solution.

I'm relatively new here so probably I'm missing something?

Currently I'm interested in probationary accounts that reduce user friction at signup while still providing some buffer for moderation review during on boarding.

and likely others all address similar concerns and of course my thought are slightly different than any I've seen (yet)

Writing another "suggestion" or adding the same comment including my thoughts to all the relevant open "suggestions" both seem like bad ideas...how is this supposed to work?

Have you installed Mastodon/Docker on a bare machine?

I wanted to see the differences against this self built instance. But there seems to be a dearth of modern vids to follow and no official documdntation using Docker.

A great opportunity to grab a YouTube niche?

メニュー類の体裁を或る程度直しました。検索欄の下に現れる候補メニューの周りの陰影とか。投稿作成枠の中でハッシュタグ（#…）やアット言及（@…）や絵文字ショートコード（:…）を打ち込む時の候補メニューとか。

Mastodon v4.3 で「システムのテーマを使用」に対応する為に追加されたと思われる CSS のルールは、既存のルールよりも無駄にセレクターの詳細度が高くて、カスタムスタイルシートによる上書きを更に上書きして来るので困る。詳細度の軍拡競争が起きるので已めてほしい。

Hello “Mast”ers,
Is there way for users to setup translation for posts to preferred language in Mastodon?. In my case, my preferred language is English and I would like for an option at the bottom or in the ellipsis to translate it on request. This way we would have access to more streams of thoughts and perspectives without the confines of the language. Is it just about tweesecake enabling it?
Translation is accessibility too.

I would also like to have it as a subservice of mastodon.social.
