ARE WE GOOD? is an exasperating but interesting doc on Marc Maron, surely the most unrelentingly miserable man on the stand-up circuit. Maron obviously has talent, but he is so insufferable at times that you root for the film crew to leave him in the middle of the desert. There is real poignancy, however, with Lynn Shelton, the most important relationship of Marc's life and the only person pushing through his misery. And I did mist up over this cruel loss. Recommended.
