Post Office people, can you help me out? Having lots of issues with a forwarding order.
When a piece of mail is returned “Unable to forward” does the _sending_ Post Office get any indication of WHY it could not be delivered from the _receiving_ post office?
Seems like our PO is clueless, has tried re-forwarding some pieces and had them bounce again. I filled out a new forwarding order on the paper form just in case some typoed an entry.
It seems truly bizarre that the POs seem to see trucking mail back and forth is better than identifying the issue directly and seeing a correction.
