I ordered a gallon of liquid tree fertilizer from Idaho to NY, and it was shipped #usps Ground Select. But it was obviously flown, because there is no other way to get from Boise to the Hudson Valley in less than 24 hours. This is fast, but is it efficient?

#Gas

Bought some gas for one of my cars for the 1st time in months.

$78.15 for 13.026 gals at $5.999/gal for Premium which this particular car requires.

The last time I bought any gas, I think it was around $4.859/gal.

That's a 23.5% increase 🤦🏻‍♂️

I'm glad that I don't drive any of my ICE vehicles much any more. 😉

PS: I also own a #diesel #truck.

The price of diesel at the same station is now $7.299/gal up from around $5/gal the last time I looked.

That's a 46% increase in about the same time frame. 🤯

Just think what this increase is doing to the #trucking industry & what it will soon do to the cost of everything, because everything (at one stage or another) is delivered by truck.

The #USPS already announced that it is imposing an 8% fuel surcharge on pkg deliveries starting on 4/26.

This won't be the last that we see of such surcharges or other cost increases due to the higher fuel costs precipitated by #Drumpf's idiotic war in #Iran.🤦🏻‍♂️
